Company was paid to pick up the horse. She gave a definite date and continued to make excuse after excuse including her drivers license needed to be renewed, it was her birthdate, it's a holiday in Canada. We were then told another date saying she was at the border waiting to get through with an empty truck. She proceeded to tell us her personal problems and again more stories and lies. The day that we were told for pick up we called to get a time (she said the day before she was at the border). She answered phone and proceeded to say how busy she was and was trying to get on the road so she could make it to the border (the same border that she supposedly was waiting to cross the day before). She gave excuses of fires, a stallion she was to pick up was a gelding so she was dealing with police and paperwork. It was one outlandish lie after another.

Once she said she could not pick the horse up that day as promised we cancelled and hired someone else. She sent a nasty text which included thanks for rerouting me so so awesome! We were told she would be driving through that area but would drive 100 miles off the route to pick up our horse. We then received a nasty email the next day.

I understand that horses are live animals and are unpredictable at times. I understand things happen so it is hard to give exact times etc. She had an empty trailer!

I have had horses transported across the country numerous times and have always had great transporters. I read reviews and talk with people on who to use and not use. I did not see bad reviews for this company. Once I told a few people about this company then I had several people say they have had bad experiences with them as well.

Lesson learned, next time I will wait until one of the transport companies that I have used is in the area no matter how long it takes!
