Puerto Rico car transport picked up my 2003 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4 days late on February 14, 2022. It was available for pickup March 10. When I arrived to pick it up the batteries were dead and the fuel tank empty including the canister filter. I had to get a tow truck to get it home and had noway of knowing they had fried the electrical system most likely by jumping it with no fuel in it. After consulting multiple mechanics and the dealership no one could tell me what was wrong. I researched it myself and replaced the TIPM and ECM. When I sent the receipts to the insurance agent she then informed me that they would not pay for the damage because they had no way of checking those parts. Hello it was running when you picked it up. I filed a report with the BBB. They did not respond until 20 November 2024. Then when I resent the emails to them they would not respond. I am sure they were hoping I would not see it and the BBB would mark it as resolved. When I reopened the case with the BBB they contacted them and I got a phone call. They said they wanted to confirm my address that they already had and ask me to forward the emails. When they got the emails with the receipts for the parts they said they would only pay for the original complaint for missing fuel and towing. 200.00. Not even 10% of what it cost me. And after 6 months without a vehicle and no way to work and 3 years after the damage was done.
